Tatsoi

Brassica rapa

The plant has dark green spoon-shaped leaves which form a thick rosette. It has a soft creamy texture and has a subtle yet distinctive flavour.

It takes 45-50 days to harvest and can withstand temperatures down to –10°C (15°F). Tatsoi can be harvested even from under the snow.

 Great for salads and in stir-fries etc. Young tatsoi leaves are very tender and tasty, older leaves are larger and suit stir frying. Tatsoi has a long harvest period and is easy to grow in most soil types, with organic matter added. Perfect for containers or  small gardens.
