Winter Tarragon, Sweet mace, Mexican Tarragon

Tagetes lucida

Perennial with pretty single yellow flowers. Mostly hardy (won't cope with heavy frost), grows to about 60cm. The leaves have a strong aniseed flavour (stronger than French Tarragon). Use as a substitute when French Tarragon is unavailable. Likes full sun.
