Shungiko (Garland Chrysanthemum)
Chrysanthemum coronarium
Aromatic, annual leafy green vegetable. Used in salads, stir fries and sushi. Best harvested when plant is approx. 10-20cm tall. Prefers full sun, but will tolerate some shade in a rich, well drained soil. Add compost for better results. Keep well watered and mulch for best results.
