Sorry, but it's too cold for the Saltworts at the moment. They will be available again in Spring.
Saltwort
Salsola komarovii
A traditional Japanese culinary herb with long, succulent leaves which have a juicy, crunchy texture. Native to the salt marshes of Japan, this herb will grow just as well in less saline environments. Use the crunchy young leaves in salads and sushi. Longer, older leaves can be steamed or stir fried. High in vitamins(A), minerals, including calcium and potassium. Best grown in warmer climates or during spring/summer. Prefers fertile, enriched soils with full sun or part shade. Keep harvesting to prolong life of the plant.
