Salad Mallow is originally from India & is an annual that grows to about 1 metre tall. The leaves are a glossy dark green with small yellow flowers. The leaves can be eaten raw or used to make a tea. Long used to relieve a head cold or sinus infection as well sore throats & chest coughs. The leaves are one of the richest sources known of Potassium. Do NOT use it if you are pregnant as it is said to speed up child birth. Always seek medical advise before using herbal remedies.
