Variegated Ginger Mint
Mentha x gentilis 'Variegata'
This mint has a spicy aroma, similar to the flavour of ginger, combined with spearmint. The variegation of the leaves is more obvious if the plant is fertilised generously, or grown in a pot.
Best grown in a pot as mints tend to be a invasive and spread otherwise.
Perennial, spreading to 40cm. Keep moist, and tolerates low light situations.
