Sweet Marjoram

Origanum marjorana

A very versatile herb with many uses. It has sweet aromatic leaves & clusters of white flowers in summer. It does not like frost. As the name suggests its flavour is sweet & spicy & can (should) be used in all cooking. It also compliments other herbs such as Basil,Chives & Thyme. Medicinally, it has antiseptic properties & used in tea it can help with headaches.
