Annual, also known as 'Lambs Lettuce' or 'Mache'. This variety has slightly larger leaves and a more upright growth habit than Verte de Cambrai. Heirloom variety. Makes a great substitute for lettuce during the winter months as it can withstand light frosts. High in Vitamin C. Plant grows to 15cm tall, harvest whole plant or just pick out side leaves as required. Perfect for use in salads or cooked like spinach.
