Bergamot - Red (also known as Panama Bergamot)

Monarda didyma

This beautiful perennial plant flowers in shades of red, pink and purple. It does well in full sun, will thrive in a large pot and attracts birds and beneficial insects to the garden. The flowers and leaves are used to make a tea, whilst dried flowers can be used in pot pourri.
