The majority of our plants are grown from Heritage varieties which are Non-Hybrid, Open Pollinated, Non GMO and Chemical Free. In most cases, the plants are grown from organic seed (sourced by The Lost Seed). We choose to grow our plants naturally, using organic methods, although we are not accredited. No chemical pesticides, insecticides or fungicides are used on our plants, and we apply natural fertilisers such as seaweed and fish based emulsions, organic ‘compost tea’ to promote sustained, healthy growth and composted manure to enrich and feed the soil.

If your plants are damaged or have deteriorated on arrival, we will replace them. Seeds are germination tested prior to release, and the majority show a 90-100% germination rate. Quantity of seed per packet is exceptional, providing excellent value for money. We have put together collections of herb plants. These groupings are designed to grow well together as they have similar requirements, and are an easy way to ensure you have all you need for a particular style of cooking, e.g. Asian, Mediterranean or French collections.		We use a secure shopping cart system to ensure an easy and safe way to order. You are very welcome to email your order to us if you prefer. Payment is through the secure Paypal system using credit card, or with money order or cheque. Orders are sent out as soon as possible (within 10 days). You will be notified if there is a delay for any reason. Supplies may be limited, and some plants are only available seasonally. Ordering early helps us to ensure we have what you need. Substitutions will be made unless specified otherwise. Plants are generally sent in their pots (75-100mm). This is the best method to send most plants. Some plants can be sent bare rooted with excess potting mix removed and the root placed in a moisture retaining material. Plants must be collected as soon as possible from post offices as we are not responsible for plants that have deteriorated due to delayed collection.
